What was the problem with the Dometic fridge?
After eliminating the ignition unit, gas valve and the electronics board the fault was traced to one of the wiring looms on top of the fridge. As he had pulled out the fridge with some difficulty due to it being a very tight fit he replaced the loom and fitted a new gas jet.

With regards to Printermick’s post the numbers on the dial are not equivalent to the old “gas mark” system, which merely regulated the flow of gas. The oven has a thermostat, which reduces the gas flow to effectively a pilot light when a set temperature is met.
Do You Use Your Dometic oven in your motorhome?
Our new motorhome has the TEC tower oven with grill, which comes as one unit with the fridge. I think they are joined together, but whether they are or not they are sold as one unit and have one model number and handbook to cover both fridge and oven. We have tried the oven and it heated up a ready meal OK (what we use it for mainly).
Is there a problem with my Dometic refrigerator?
Doing a check on all my systems I found a problem with my Dometic RM 7271 L Adsorption Refrigerator when operating on gas. When switched manually to the gas mode I got a blinking light rather than a steady light. Operating the fridge on mains electric overnight it works fine.

Why is my Dometic RM 2652 not cooling?
If you can get it to operate on propane the possibilities change markedly. If you don’t have propane available, the 120V heating element should be checked as it can cause it not to cool, with power available and the fuse good. The element in yours should read 44 ohms through it with power removed.
What causes a short circuit on a Dometic fridge?
Check for corrosion or dirt on the pin then check at the sparking end (Red Arrows) make sure there is no dirt or rubbish causing a short circuit. It is possible to adjust the gap for the spark so make sure its not to large other wise you wont get a spark (clicking)
